Tortroid: The Golden Chalice

Tortroid is a turn-based metroidvania-style game that combines strategic movement, exploration, and progression in an odd and mysterious interconnected world. 

In Tortroid, enemies and hazards move only when you do. Plan your route carefully, learn enemy patterns, and use a variety of discovered abilities to reach areas that were previously inaccessible. 

Explore a variety of different environments, each with its own features and enemies- from forests, caves, and ruins- each designed with a unique colour palette.

Explore

Travel around a world filled with different environments that affect the turn-based gameplay. Find locked passages, unique items, and a variety of secrets as you search for the Golden Chalice to restore your kingdom.  

Adapt

Acquire new abilities through exploration and boss fights. These abilities not only affect combat but also change how you interact with the world and access new routes through previously explored areas.

Discover

Obtain unique items that allow you to access different parts of the world in a variety of methods. Discover new enemies, items, magic, and tools.

Free Edition -  The free edition contains the full game up to the point of current development.

Supporter Edition -  Updated more frequently. It helps me with further development. However, all content in this version will eventually be released in the free edition.
